Elizabeth Gilbert talks about nurturing creativity on TED. She takes away the pressure of you, as a person, always having the responsibility to excel, and puts it into a third party entity that you can call a muse, a genius, or a divine intervention. Thinking this way fights the fear of failure and it pushes you into action, because if you fail it is not entirely your fault.

This is also described as the SIXTH SENSE in Napoleon Hill famous book “Think and Grow Rich“. As translated from his book: “The SIXTH SENSE is that portion of the subconscious mind which has been referred to as the Creative Imagination. It has also been referred to as the “receiving set” through which ideas, plans, and thoughts flash into mind. The “flashes” are sometimes called “hunches” or “inspirations.”…”
